Time Limit to file appeal before RERA Appellate Tribunal-Limitation Period (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA) Appellate Tribunal)

The time limit to file an appeal in the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA) Appellate Tribunal is 60 days from the date the aggrieved person receives a copy of the order or decision:

The Appellate Tribunal may also:

  • Pass orders, including interim orders, after giving the parties an opportunity to be heard
  • Send a copy of every order made by it to the parties and to the Authority or the adjudicating officer
  • Deal with the appeal as expeditiously as possible
  • Record reasons in writing if it cannot dispose of the appeal within the 60-day period
